What video game are you currently playing?

Playing as my Sylvari guardian in Guild Wars 2. I just finished exploring two maps and now I’m working on my third. Whister me, Panacea Prince (yes I know the name sucks but everything else was taken), and maybe we can quest together or possibly do PVP.

I’ve been play Leage of Legends as well and I’ve been loving Twitch. Just waiting to get all my “fighter” runes so I can finally try PVP on that without getting creamed.

I’ve been poking around in a lot of different games lately, but most of all I’ve been playing Mark of the Ninja.
It’s probably the greatest stealth game since the Thief games.

FTL has also taken up a bit of my time, and is also pretty cool. It feels sort of like the spaceship equivalence of a Rogue-like. (As in, not set on a spaceship, you fly the spaceship while the game screws you over and you love it for it.)
A game usually takes something like five to ten minutes for me. After 13 hours, I’ve only ever made it to the final area once. Died halfway to the “boss” once I got there. But I guess thats what I get for wasting my missiles early on and not having enough lasers to get through three to four layers of shielding. I knew I should have picked up that extra MkI burst laser when I had the chance.

Xenoblade: Just crashed Egil’s party and filled out mine. Apparently I didn’t have to worry about the most recent point of no return as all it really meant is that I couldn’t leave the island until I finished up my business there and now the only new non-accessible location is the bottom of the Fortress which had nothing but a boss fight or two to begin with. Meanwhile the latest character is, of course, sporting Aerods in true Xeno-whatever fashion, even if it’s to fire a fuckoff beam, but is otherwise a sudo-allrounder in options as equipment changes the role between offensive, tank, and miscellaneous with arts covering back attacks, topple attacks, debuff+buff attacks, and status attacks.

Edit: Whoops! Wrong point of no return. Still done with that part though so it doesn’t matter.

Speed build. You want to put her in the speed build with the blade-spamming back thingy. Then team her up with Dunban and you can pretty much fall asleep during every other battle other than he bonus bosses.

That’s what I figured. You get so much more mileage out of Agility over every other stat it’s ridiculous. You might as well call Speed Builds “Tank Builds” as they do a better job of tanking than damage sponges like Reyn do. But then again every story fight thus far hasn’t really been all that difficult given the gobs of Exp the game throws at you so it doesn’t really matter how I barrel through most fights. Most of my trouble comes from Unique Monster fights that have some annoying gimmick to watch out for like that one Challenge fight in Makna Forest that involves fighting a tough horse with a Spike buff while sitting in the direct path of a motherfucking T-Rex, the lizard boss in the fortress in Satori Marsh who’s surrounded by the better part of a dozen cronies, that one frog boss that’s sitting on a quest item for a quest you got way back at the start of the game that doesn’t want you to fight it until you hit the High Entita homeland, and a few others.

Also forgot to mention this in my previous post but this game’s plot is currently reminding me of SatAM Sonic.

Edit: Shit. I just picked up an advanced art manual from an unique monster up in Mechonis Field, specifically for Sharla’s Heat Bullet Art. Now I have this sudden urge to go look up what the UMs at Sword Valley and Galahad Fortress drop before I lock myself off from them this playthrough.

Been playing Mario Wii U recently, finished it last night star road included. Only got 4 stars on my game file though, not sure what it takes for the 5th right now but not really concerned about it either.

Other than that I still play WoW, I got X-Com, Carrier Command, Tales of Grace F and Xenoblade competing for the ‘ME NEXT! ME!’ slot.

The most I’ve played was Plants vs Zombies :frowning:

I also played a bit of Witcher but the pacing isn’t great so far.

It gets worse.

I hope you like swamps. And fighting Drowners.

I recently got the urge to go replay Saya no Uta, so I’m doing that.
Did the White End, and working my way towards the other two endings now.

I recently started playing “Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars (Directors Cut)” at the request of a friend and I have to admit it is quite addictive. However, it’s one of those games that wont appeal to the vast majority due to the excessive dialogue… however it has quite a story! …from what I’ve seen so far.

Still playing League.

Picked up Torchlight 2 a few months back, still give it a whirl every now and again. Wasn’t too impressed, but it’s a fun romp I suppose.

TF2 every now and again.

Oh yeah, picked up Parappa the Rapper 2 again; never gets old. XD

Made it to the second cut off point in Xenoblade. Still need to clear out UMs and hoard more collectables but I’ve run out of inventory space for weapons, crystals, and even gems and unfortunately I kinda want to at least keep one of every type available even if I end up having to shop for them but even that’s not much of an option anymore.

Inventory management is always such a bother.

I hate swamps. They are the most annoying levels in most games (together with ice levels).

A propos your avatar, I read recently that the GBA version of Breath of Fire II had 3x EXP & 3x money rewards. This would make me feel deeply justified about the original, hadn’t I been cheating already.

Xenoblade: God damn, that was a whole lot of cutscene. Either way though I’m now past the final cut off point and have only the point of no return left to cross before I finish the game. At least I’m finally at the point where nothing’s beyond my reach (barring locked out areas and places infested by level 80+ enemies at least). On the plus side I’m now getting tier V crystals for making the highest tier gems with.

Shadow Dragon: My true harem run is nearing completion. I’ve now collected every available female party member save for Nagi who’s going to involve some trickery to get. My strategy for the most recent stage involved warping Bantu up to Tiki, having him hand over his Fire Dragon Stone and any keys he may be holding, and then letting the wolves feed on his bones while Tiki and Athena exacted revenge while Marth and Maria looted the place.

Also acquired Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It should be a miserable little pile of fun barring PSX shenanigans. But enough posting, time to have at it (after Suki 2).

Double Bump Post since its been a month since anybody posted in here and I want to update my progress report on Xenoblade. And by progress report, I mean that I beat the game over four weeks ago and am now tackling all the endgame stuff like the depths of Tepra Cave, the fifth personality quests, and the last quests.

Also I’m abusing the last arena in Shadow Dragon so that I can have everyone who’s still alive promoted and level 20/20 or 30. Hopefully, I can get this sucker wrapped up before Awakening hits.

I’m currently wasting most of my free time on MMOs.
Guild Wars 2 and The Secret World.
Both are great. Both are story driven, but TSW much more so. Both also reward exploration and general faffing about looking for stuff.
GW2 feels like a more polished game, but the Secret World writers are SO GOOD at what they do. I love the generally mysterious and creepy feel they have in just about every lore entry.

Warcraft 2 :v

Just about done with the Human campaign in Tides of Darkness, then I am tossing up between continuing with Humans in Beyond the Dark Portal, or if I want to follow the story and do the Orcs first.

BtDP had quite a few annoying stages iirc, so I vote in favour of the Orc campaign. Lok’tar ogar.

But the human campaign had this music :frowning:

Orcs only got this pos for the expansion.

Ehh, the main things about Portal that I remember are that most levels made you go hunting for a base, rather than just giving you one; you usually had 3 or 4 enemies to fight off, as opposed to the 1-2 you’d see in Tides, and a stepped up AI also. Instead of leaving your base with a couple of towers to fend off the odd 4-unit raiding party, you’d be off doing your thing, hear the “Our town is under attack!” and then see your defenses getting Death and Decay’d.

Lately I’ve been playing New Super Mario Bros. 2 on 3DS and have been trying to open up all the secret levels as well as get all the star coins, but I decided to visit this site as I miss having the chance to really get into some RPGs. In November 2011 I had the best time in a long time as I played all 4 King’s Field games to completion back to back while recording the footage. For the Japanese exclusive first game, I actually played it in Japanese referring to maps and guides to find out what I needed to do when talking to characters was required.

The last couple years it’s been all about moving, work and trying to sell stuff to make ends meet. I can’t wait till I get the chance to really get into new RPGs again. Until then it’s just little quick games or bits of RPGs I already know well enough not to get lost in between gaming sessions.
