apart from the lack of fanfic jedi porn, is the lack of pokemon tactics games. I think I might actually buy one if one were released. What do you guys think of the pokemon tactics game?
what, like a fft-esque game involving pokemon? that would be…interesting to say the least, lots more abilities and strategys needed to consider than a human vs. human or human vs. monster game due to the elemental basis of the pokemon. Actually yeah that doesnt sound half-bad
Let me put it this way: There IS such a thing as a flash cartoon that asks the question: “Hey Yoda, did you ever use The Force to get laid?” Newgrounds used to have it. Probably still on there somewhere.

I honestly don’t mind the Pokemon games. It’s the damn cartoon I can’t stand.
What surprises me even more is the complete lack of a Pokémon MMORPG, considering that the entire game revolves around interaction with other trainers.
But yes, a Pokémon tactical RPG would kick serious butt.

Well, I’m a Pokemon fan, because I find LOTS of cool things about it. The video games are good; the card game, I actually like BETTER than Magik The Gathering (Blasphemy!! 
) Even the cartoon has had its moments… but I must agree, it is the whole blasted focus on merchandising it to kids (thereby insuring that A) most Pokemon are annoyingly cute and B) the cartoon is absurdly repetitive, that keeps most people from taking it seriously.
And yes, I agree that, IF written seriously, you could do quite a few cool things with Pokemon- MMORPGS or Tactical games would certainly work.

And I wouldn’t mind seeing humans fighing pokemon and vice versa, but still…

Well, you would have to program 350 plus different pokemon, possibly different human characters, and who knows how many different attacks their are.
And I am TOTALLY surprised there is no MMORPG for pokemon. I wouldn’t play it though.
