what is your Holy Grail?

what is your Holy Grail of older games?

I have a few

Lufia 2
Harvest Moon 1
Chrono Trigger(snes)

for 6 years FF3(6) and FF2(4) from 96 till 01 were mine

and my Holy Grail of movies is The Galaxy Express 999 on DVD
no store I have been to has this movie.

I was thinking too, that you meant “Holy Grail” in general. I was going to say “Castle Anthrax”

To buy yet another two copies of Fallout 1 & 2. Why? Because you can never have enough Fallout.

Tales of Destiny 2 (the PS2 one). I want it. Now.

After my acquisition of Panzer Dragoon Saga, I have none save for finding a copy of Make Room! Make Room! or a copy of Seduction of the Innocent with a complete bibliography.

True.

Final Fantasy Tactics or Chrono Trigger, can’t make up my mind.

But if you mean REALLY old games, I’d go for Mario. The original one.

super(the first for NES) or the origanal arcade?
because I have had the same copy of Super Mario Brothers since I was three years old
I never put away my older systems I jut find a way to fit tHen into the
area where I keep my games

I would love to have that origanal arcade version along with many other arcade games
and open up a restaraunt/classic gaming place

you can find FFT at any GameForce or GameExpress or any other used game store that specializes in older games

I thought that TOD2 was for PSone

but I am going to ask the owner of the video store I rent from if I can buy tat game

My copy of Super Ninja Boy. It’s the first RPG that I completed, and I love the game to death.

Super Mario World is the pinnacle of console gaming. Half-Life for the PC, although a couple upcoming releases could change that.

It was Sonic CD up until recently. Not any more  With 223 games to my name, it’s tough to pick individuals, but… Panzer Ddragoon Saga, Shining Forces 1-3 and CD, Baku Baku Animal- most of these seem to be for the Saturn, curiously enough. I must play that console more.

Oh, and a BBC Micro with a copy of Granny’s Garden. Timeless.

The original Ravenloft, I’ll probably never find it. I think it’s abandonware now, so er… anyone got it?

You have nearly as many games as me. I have exactly 200 until you add in the N64, Sega CD and Saturn games I have, but I can’t add those in just yet. It’s probably about 245 or so. And none of them are copied or multi-cartridges. 8)

DOOM…is and always will be my favorite. Enough said. With DOOM 3 out I now relive my joys in a whole new sense of PC splendor.

Damn straight! Although every time I play I spend the following three hours trying to get that cursed song off my head.

I disagree, in three words;

Diddy’s Kong-Quest.

Super Mario RPG, duh.

Remember ladies and gents…it’s all in the eye of the beholder. I like FPSs more than any other game, so DOOM is my Holy Grail of games. Such violence, such firepower, such…revolutionary genius of gaming.

That brings back very nasty memories of Culex. And that wolf’s jumping challenge too.
