it derives from LPRO which means Lance plays Ragnarok Online, it was mentioned in an article at Something Awful. FPRO stands for Flint plays Ragnarok Online.
EDIT: but FPRO first meant Frameskip plays Ragnarok Online after he bitched at us for making fun of Ragnarok Online.
I don’t have a spot of lag in RO, except for the lag from my computer, so saying it’s laggy is not a valid point, because it WAS laggy but it IS not. Since you haven’t played this version, don’t say it’s laggy until you’ve tried.
Of course, a couple hours ago the servers started lagging a lot for some reason :fungah:
The point is that the RO servers didn’t seem to be able to take the ammount of people wanting to play.
If RO wasn’t laggy now, not because the lack of people, but more or better servers it would be a different story.
Meh. Gravity’s too biased to upgrade the iRO servers cause non-Asians don’t deserve the same kind of treatment as precious Koreans do.
Well, with that kind of attitude, even Runescape will attract more players…

For example, cRO (Chinese) has the Arena, Cute Pet, Player Kill, Episode 4, Among TONS of other crap, the Japanese RO (jRO) isn’t far behind, & kRO (Korea) is pwning then all. They treat6 iRO like it’s they’re little shit monkey, that’s why iRO sucks ass, thank Quatre for people who change the foreign RO servers to make free RO with all the good stuff in it.

It’s Pak0 that went down because of that, not RO World. RO World went down for a different reason.
RO only lagged when there were over 10k people on each server, but when the game went p2p, a lot of people lost interest. It got a little repetitive after a while…for me at least. That, and even though it was said, some of the new classes are extremely unbalanced.
Runescape isn’t exactly my favorite either, by the way.
Well, it’s not like iRO will have the new classes ever.

If you can stand MUD style graphics, this game is good.
I played RO after the open beta was finished, but they had some hacking problems and I never got my password. So I can’t play, but I am only semi-upset.
RO is tons of fun, yes it did lag, but it didn’t after it went p2p. Click and pointing is BASICLY the game play in every game. They just add other things liek DEATH or something.
RO had alot of good ideas, but it didn’t use them as well as it could have. I think you can find a better game then RO quite easily… but I think the reason it appeled to so many people here, was because it was a free download for a while. Then the crack came in and made you addicted

Lol, that guy said it was pointless and killing stuff for no reason, isn’t that the greatnest of it? Ro is the best damn MMORPG, MMORPGs don’t have stories smart-ass, they only have quests and side-quests, the game is mostley like a giant tornament, and…lol, runescape is the lamest, most oldest, 1988-ish game ever :o

I have a sudden urge to actually uninstall my RO right now…
The only thing remotly innovative about RO is it’s horrible grammer, and that seems more “counter-innovative” than anything else. The game really isn’t very great when you compare it to other MMORPGs.
I never playde RO… I just play Illumia… ._.
But I like it, despite the graphics and lag and all
