You’re lucky Infonick. I was at drill and some jackass private yells at me about not finding Bush legitimate, claiming I’m a “liberal shithead who goes to a pussy liberal university and doesn’t belong in the uniform.” I was about ready to shove that kid’s head into a table, and I also outrank the SOB. I’m a PFC, which doesn’t mean much on the rank scale, but still I made cracks about Bush, and the sergeants heard, but they didn’t freak out. It’s freedom of speech ladies and gents, and if you’re a defender of that, like Infonick and I, then we should be able to use it along with the rest of the U.S.
Tell him that he should remember he’s not in Nazi Germany where everyone has to have admiration for their fearless leader, but America where everyone is not only allowed, but encouraged, to have different opinions.
If that doesn’t work, pull rank. =p
