what if?

this is a fun little game I thought of. you write a question that starts with what if and the next person to post ansers it. the person who posts the anser can anser in the form of a small skit showing what would happen if the event happened or if he/she is feeling vey creative a sprite comic. the person who posts the anser asks the next what if question.

I’ll start us off.

what if rpgc was a big musical? :moogle:

you forgot to ask a question. :moogle:

WHAT IF…you weren’t an idiot?

holy shit, now that’s a good one.

RedComet wins. :stuck_out_tongue:

What if S-Curves would engage in an Ice-9 Type Transition in The Bronx?

What if this thread got locked?

I used to read “What If…?” which was a comic series that depicted alternate universes that had the Marvel Universe characters.

What if Capitalism actually helped people?

CHRIST SHUT UP YOU DUMBASS. GO READ A HISTORY BOOK FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. COMMUNISM IS THE WORST SYSTEM IN THE WORLD, NO COUNTRY WILL EVER MAKE IT WORK BECAUSE IT RELIES ON QUALITIES IN THE HUMAN RACE THAT DO NOT EXIST. SOVIET RUSSIA WAS THE MOST OPPRESSIVE AND REPULSIVE COUNTRY IN THE WORLD THAT SLAUGHTERED MILLIONS OF IT’S OWN SYSTEMS AND BANNED EVERYTHING IT DIDN’T AGREE WITH. YOU ARE LIVING IN A FANTASY WORLD THAT HAS NO RELATION TO THE REAL ONE WHATSOEVER ARRRRGHHHHH.

Also what the fuck is this sig about North Korea? What IS it with you and your hard-on for repressive regimes? Did South Koreans murder your parents or something or do you just blindly support them because OMG COMMUNISM?

ROFLMAOZEDONG!

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

<!–Moron–>

Part of me thinks hes like me (in that Communism would be great… if it worked, until then I am a staunch capitalist), just way more vocal like it. Another part says that hes just doing this to piss some of us off, or something. Another piece agrees with your assessment, Pie.

Nice hidden message.

Ok let’s look at capitalism. And the children that were put into factories in Europe, mainly England during the industrial revolution, who also worked 11 hours a day. Or the Contras that killed every male of fighting age and bashed in the heads of babies over in South America and I think Central as well.

I second that, Pierson’s post is hilarious. Dissection time.

This would have been a great argument that would have no doubt made me forget about communism forever and decided to see the light of capitalism, if not for the following facts:

1: What human qualities? What do you mean? Are you trying to play the “human nature” card? Forget about that then, this is something many people seem to think, even though there has been no proof whatsoever of human beings having any particular nature that would somehow keep them from living in a communist nation. We may have been used to a certain system ourselves these days, but that doesn’t make it human nature. I especially don’t see how “human nature” contradicts an idea that’s actually supposed to give humans more chance to develop themselves individually than any other(yes, you read that correctly, and no, developing yourself doesn’t mean it’s necessary to have electronic goodies at the expense of others, as many capitalists seem to think).

2: THE most oppressive government in the world? Hm, and I live in a dream world? Apparently you live in one in which Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and Imperial Japan didn’t exist. You’re wrong regardless of that, I’d like to see proof of slaughter of millions by the USSR(and no, not the Gulag Archapeligo, the way those figures were calculated, one could make Holland appear genocidal).

3: The fact that you need to use ALL CAPS SHOUTING and flaming to prove your point, speaks volumes of the kind of person you are.

Oh right, I’m sure that, let’s say, Cuba would have been a lot better under Batista’s rule, which was obviously humane and not repressive at all, right? Seriously, did Cubans murder your parents or do you just blindly support counter-revolutionaries because OMG CAPITALISM(or anti-communism, for that matter)?

Okay. Everyone else please be quiet, so we can finish the argument this time.

Kamizake, that is the worst possible example you could have given. You seem to be forgetting that Soviet Russia, not only funded and trained active terrorist groups all across Europe, American and the Middle-East during AND AFTER Stalin’s reign, but ALSO worked their workers just as hard as Europe ever did, without overtime pay and anywhere they wanted, and without any kind of benefits except those given to the ‘Superworkers’ as a publicity stunt.

edit; this post isn’t complete yet now, since Eyeflash decided he’s going to join the party.

Yay 1936 Constitution of the USSR time!

The principle applied in the U.S.S.R. is that of socialism: “From each according to his ability, to each according to his work.”

I can go on if you want me too. But these weren’t real were they? Because they were communist. Just because it’s Communist it is always wrong. :thud:
