Not necessarily. When it comes down to a contest of living, I’d sure as hell want a gun to enforce my victory, not some piddly blade. It’s a matter of practicality…

I like wet cods so that you can bludgeon someone to death. Or you could just sit on a remote controlled meteor and play pinball inside the universe. Swords are the true weapons/tools of the world.
