Epic mentioned it in the chat so I Googled it up.

Hooray to Service Pack 2! Boo to Microsoft’s pathetic security checking!

There are already signs of the coming apocalypse.

Hooray for out-of-proportion statements!

OH GOD PIERSON. YOU’VE HAD THE SAME AVATAR FOR 2 DAYS. THE APOCALYPSE IS COMING.

Great, like there weren’t enough software rapists already.

YOU GO TO HELL! YOU GO TO HELL AND YOU DIE!

A VIRGIN TO HELL. ANOTHER SIGN.

[Insert sarcastic remark here]

I don’t even have to post links anymore, I can just mention it and people will do my dirty work for me.

Yeah. You lazy ass. You’d make a great Hull student. :stuck_out_tongue:

More like a mob boss.

Shall we start calling you Godfather?

No, even acknowledging that the mob boss actually exists is a whackable offence.

Which meaning of ‘whackable’ are we talking about here?

Being hit in the face with a tire iron. Until you die.

Oh good. Otherwise it would have been, y’know, weird.

And a lot more pleasurable. And I would’ve requested several. Daily.

Hooray for old news!

And if you’re worried about this, dont use the official microsoft GDIJPG fix (GDI is the driver in issue, the official bulletin name is, MS04-028…i think). It doesn’t do anything. Its worse than worseless, it is dangerous, because it makes people think they are safe.

Here is a better application that to detect the issue.

You may also be interested in this open letter to microsoft, urging them to be more accountable for 3rd party vendors who use their DLLs, and also asking them to be more forthcoming with information on issues, and making actual fixes.

Can we have something that fixes it?

How DARE you call Epic the godfather! flap flap flap

Oh how I’m not surprised the generation of geeks would go this far to make the everyday PC user’s life even more complicated through viruses that wasted their precious, slothful, and interesting time.
