Victoly!?

Just bugging you about something small here:
When I point my mouse over the Lucca smilie it says ‘victoly!’. Shouldn’t that be victory? :stuck_out_tongue:
If so, can you change it? Just for me? Please? :kissy: Pretty please?

Or I will send my friend to get you, and he’s a purple octopus!:ulty:

It’s a joke about Japanese accents. They pronounce Rs like Ls.

OOPS!

Sorry for being so humorless and stupid…:frowning:

…But… Lucca isn’t Japanese, is she…?

Do you know where every single RPG character on the left came from? Almost all successful RPGs are made in Japan. MQ proved America can’t do it.

Don’t get all angry with me.
I know the GAMES are from Japan. (don’t know what game Mr.T. is from, though)
I’m just saying that Lucca doesn’t look very asian to me. It was just another dumb remark from me o.k?
Better get used to 'em, all my posts have one or more in them. (or you can just ignore my posts:) )

He’s not getting angry. That’s the way Xelo usually is.

Mr. T came from Earthbound.

Figures, as I never played that. Is it any good btw?
And isn’t this guy  from Earthbound as well?
The only other one I don’t recognise::boring:
Oh, and I’m not quite sure where she’s from::frowning: (some gamer I am, eh?)

Yes, is the main character of Earthbound, :boring: is the Onionkid who is somewhere in FF6 (I think) and :frowning: is a custom sprite of a certain staffer named Faetan.

And yes, Earthbound kicks ass. It’s a parody game of the DW games, tough. So uh, don’t go in expecting it to be the greatest RPG ever :stuck_out_tongue:

I never played DW so I don’t know if I would appreciate a parody of the game. And I’ve got a list of rpg’s that I still want to play so I’m afraid Earthbound will have to wait…

The onionkid from FF6? It may be some time ago that I last played FF6, but I don’t remember the union kid in it. Actually, I think I’ll go as far as to say that he was NOT in it. (No offense meant:kissy: )

(I am a mad duck? Never even knew…)

Oh, I didn’t know that until 3 years after I played it too. It’s good. Trust me on this.

And yes, Onionkid was in it. Not as a plotcharacter or whatever, but if I recall correctly, I think he was randomly walking around in some town.

Thwe only time I ever saw him was on the Loading Screen for the PSX version.

I thought he was in FFIII or FFV?

the victoly thing was also an RPGC catch phrase, which is why it got worked into the smiley vernacular. I didn’t know it was a silly Japanese thing too.

The OnionKid is in FF3 TD.
He also cameos in FF6 for the PSX on the loading screen, and in FFX being Lulu’s celestial weapon.

Yeah, I know he was in FF3. I was referring to the cameo.

There were two other sprites I saw in the PSX version, anyone know who they were?

One is Squall, haven’t seen the other one.

We can’t forget the classic…

WTF?

That’s a 3D version of Samurai Showdown!
Never new there was one! (though I could have guessed…)

I’m stuck in the snes age, I even have Samurai Showdown on snes! (never play it much, though)
