His gun is revealed near the end to not really be a real gun. It connects to him and causes him to destroy entire cities. His brother’s gun is the same.
Just a side note, I didn’t really understand all that stuff about guns. I’m not a weapons fan.:too bad;

You’d actually notice that about his gun much eariler in the series, in the same episode when he’s fighting The Blade. And yeah, Knives is basically his brother.
And they’re both spawned from a mixture of human cells/DNA/whatever, and that of the Plants (the old technology power plants in this case). Just so you know.
