U.SaGa Images. Tomomi versions.

For those who may not want to wait to beat the final boss to see the Tomomi Kobayashi version of the main. Or who do not have access to a capture program. This will post will help you.

I’ve just gotten the endings for both Ruby and Judy captured. And while they aren’t good for viewing with no sound. They got what I needed the images.

What I did was take the Tomomi style drawings of Ruby and Judy from the end of the endings. I pasted them. Then I cut out the excess white space.

And now I uploaded them to this page.

I can get Mythe and Laura’s later if I have time and I’m lucky. However I’m not at the final boss with Kurt and I have not yet begun Ventus or Armic.

There’s one or two Kobayashi arts in the manual too. I don’t like the way the characters look when she draws them. The characters are extravagant and blatant enough to pass off as Kobayashi art normally, but when she actually draws them, it’s obvious that she didn’t create those characters.

I’m sort of a fan of her drawing style. Actually it’s one of my reasons for the SaGa books I have. Which is why I’m hoping to get a U.SaGa artbook that hopefully includes her style. But you’re right they do look quite a bit different from the game versions.

I’ve got an RS/RS2 style artbook. Some smaller artwork images in an RS3 guidebook and her SF artwork of the characters.

Come to think of it some of Amano’s drawings look quite a bit different than the final designs. Such as the case with a certain Knight in FFIX from what people have said.

While I like Tomomi’s drawings in terms of images to just look at the in game images definitely are superior for the game. Which is probably why they used them.

And you’re welcome to take the images off the site for the main site. If you feel it is okay to use such images for the site. It would probably be better to have them in a more stable home anyway.

Speaking of which I need to go downstairs in a little bit and get to Laura’s final boss and time the right time to beat it. Yeah with Mr.Shadow Breath.

Edit: I would like to add that now Mythe and Laura’s versions are up. Personally I think the Judy artwork is the best and the Laura one is the worst. At least in my view. Still have to see Kurt, Armic and Ventus. Well come later today or so, I’ll finally continue work on Kurt’s quest. Need to get his image too.

Edit: Kurt image as well now. And of course a Ventus Image as well now.
