Heh. I’m more reminded of the Key2Audio tech. Prevented (even crashed) computers from playing the CD. Until somebody came in with a magic marker.

Total cash spent on anti-piracy protection is probably MUCH higher. And while I don’t mind measures to prevent piracy, many pols and the RIAA/MPAA take it too far…
