I know I’m a couple of days off this time but it’s my two year anniversary here. It’s been fun and all and hopefully, despite me hearing the place is having financial difficulties, I can have many more.
Anyway, haven’t had a question thread in a while, but my rules still imply: The questions must have substance. Only those questions that I deem serious enough will be answered. In other words, Charl and Hades, don’t bother asking :hahaha; .
I plan to stay as long as the site keeps running. Beleive it or not, I don’t have many friends who play video games at all, so I feel comfortable here and can talk about what I like because everyone enjoys pretty much to same thing.
I guess I would actually leave if everyone acted like complete idiots 24/7. Given, things can get pretty goofy around here, it eventually settles down or Merl or something go on a banning campaign, so that’s really not a problem.
I’d seriously consider donating to the site, if I could. I go to an expensive private college and I’ll have thousands of dollar in loans to pay off. However, if RPGC is alive and kicking after I get situated with a good job, Merl can expect a fat check in the mail.
Well, my first RPG was FFVI and I really liked Bahamut. That’s why Val and I had that really big Bahamut VS Alexander fight. Of course, I won, and Val knows I won’t let her forget it, but that’s another story. I chose the make the word Bahamut into a word for “dragon king” and named him Xero, a letter shuffle for BahamutXero. I’ve always favored fire over ice too. IRL, I’d rather be hot than cold and like summer way better than winter. Add in though scales, shart teeth, and the ability to fly, and you pretty much get a drgaon.
I already did and punished Charl dearly for it.
Sure, you’ve always been on of the people here that I respect a lot more than others cough Charl, Hades.
Do you like Monkey Island? If so, which is your favorite and do you know where I can get the first two.
Also, do you ever intend to become a shriner/maintainer of some sort.
I’m afraid I can’t help you there. I never played any of the Monkey Island games, I’ve barely even heard of them.
I was a walkthough writer for StarStorm’s Heros of Might and Magic III shrine before he quit because his disc broke. I’ve thought about bringing it back but I haven’t had the time.
I suggest you play them, they’ll give you a laugh if you’ve ever played anything ever and have a sense of humour, preferably of the ironic kind. And time does tend to be the killer, alright.
I’m afraid that’s not possible. I live with my family and mom is paranoid about meeting people from the Internet. She believes I talk to convicts in prison. If I get my own place though, it may be possibe.
I’d have to say my stubborness. I’m very regimented when it comes to doing things and I hate to “deviate from the plan”. In RPGs, paricularly, I’m stubborn about getting round numbers on things. For example, when leveling up, I’d continue until I’m a round number like 50, 100, etc. I know I’ve spent too much time doing things like this but I can’t help it, it’s just the way I am.
