Been playing this gem for several days now, and I’m pretty amazed at it. Basically, it’s a Diablo clone, but a REALLY GOOD Diablo clone. It pretty much jacks up the gameplay of D2, but it doesn’t really have that good of a story that draws you in. However, it’s a pretty damn impressive game from what I’ve been playing so far.
Also, loot. Lots 'o loot. Even joke-type loot (look up the Sword of Adam and laugh or watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dpw34CgHYNw). I even a had pretty cool Unique simply titled “Double Damage Axe!” Also has an assload of mods out there for the game, which is pretty impressive considering it’s only been out for a short time.
I was very interested in it for a while, but I instantly lost the interest when I found out it was single player only. Who the fuck wants to play Diablo by themselves?
I’m more interested in the fact that it’s made by Perfect Wold and they’re working on a free MMORPG set in the same universe.
Nonetheless, I’ll probably download it after X-mas. I just got my computer up and running…again.
Well, I like it because I’m a loot whore. Besides, I have no qualms about playing by myself. Although a multiplayer mod is surely in the works by somebody. If it had multiplayer, it’d be friggin’ awesome. At least it does have some replay value though.
Also, just found this last night. Nearly shit myself since it had so many enchants on it, (enchanting’s very overpowered in this game). Too bad I can’t enchant it further without either spending a lot of money or breaking it.
