Titles

I need a good title for a detective story.

I always thought The Hound of Baskervilles was a good title.

Lol, I need an ORIGINAL title, one I can use. I hate my un-clearness ;_;

Well if you give us the description of th detective story i might come up with something

“Clueless” came up to my mind, but I doubt that title would really work :frowning:

It all depends on what the story is about, can you give a summary?

Bite the bullet

A summery would help some

A man named Jack Stone is a detective for the New York police force, and he’s got to track down a new killer in town, but the bad news is this killer is smart, really smart.

“Is the Reaper smarter than the Stone?”

A cliché title, to a cliché sounding plot. coff

“Smart Killer Vs. Jack Arse”

If the story centers around the killer, then name him the Teacher and call it “A Teacher For The Apple”.

Isn’t that the main character of Dragnet?

No, that’s Joe Friday, played by Jack Webb (and later Ed O’Neill).

Then who’s Jack Stone? I know he was a character in something…

What was the guy’s name from “Jack-of-all-Trades”?

uh… minds drawing a blank here… sorry… um…

nope.

Well, tigers are smart so ‘Tiger Hunt’ or maybe ‘Tracking the Tiger’. Or even replace ‘Tiger’ with ‘Wolf’.

How about Stereotypical Detective Story #48926?

A stone’s blood.
