I only need 7 more classes to graduate (1 GE and 6 for my major). I can do this no sweat and could probably take some summer and winter classes to make it possible to graduate in the summer, or have an easy as hell fall semester. However, I won’t have the number of units to graduate. I’ll actually be short 19 units (most classes are 3) after I finish my GE (I can actually finish my GE this winter easily) and my major. I’ve even decided to take up a minor to make my degree worth more and I’ll still be short a unit. My last semester I’ll have to take some stupid class just to get the one unit after finishing my minor (I’ll probably do a PE class). This is just gay.
Man that sucks… It’s not the same situation of course, but I know how it feels to take unnecessary classes just to fit some requirement. I’m sorry for you.
At least you have a choice on what courses to take, I don’t.
