The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker

Removing Ganon would be like putting Zelda in blue and replacing the hat with a baseball cap.

I think you mean Link.

Oh well. Didn’t figure anyone would agree anyway. Most of the zelda fan population is too… content. So of course it would be fruitless to expect anything new that’s original from the Zelda saga. Except the cellshading and that big ass ocean. Those were pretty much the significant changes. Though… damn I couldn’t stand the size of that ocean. It took too damn long to get where I was going.

Yeah I mean Link, I get confused like that.

Wow. Am I the only one who actually liked the idea of having a huge f**king ocean as the overworld? I thought it was a nice touch rather than in OoT where you just head towards a place that looks like a village and the screen fades out and two seconds later you’re there with a picture of the overworld behind you, etc.

Although I think it would’ve pleased more people if the ocean would’ve “dried up” and you could explore the ocean floor for a good part of the game. Kind of like the light world and dark world in the Zelda game for the SNES.

I don’t like how they re-did the Great Faeries. They look like flying four armed dutch milkmaids. I LOVED the battle system, yet I wish the enemies were more fiercer in the sword fights. It was more just timing and backstabbing, I felt.

Yeah. The ocean would have been better if it wasn’t so damned huge. It takes forever to go places sometimes.

You do get to teleport later in the game, but it still takes a little time. I enjoyed sailing still. It was fun.

Yeah, the teleporting is ‘great’. Most of the teleport landing points aren’t entirely near your destination.
