Awhile ago, in an Evagelion thread, people were talking about who the Christ figure in Evangelion was and I said I saw a picture that strongly drew a Christ parallel on Gendo Ikari. Here’s a link for those who are still interested, it’s the largest version I could find. Also, it says its ‘Daisuki’, does that mean its some form of fanart, or is it official?

I think I remember that scene from the series, but I’m not sure.

Daisuki means love, actually. (or one of the many ways to say love)

Dai literally means big, or large. Suki means to like. So put the two together.

Ai is the most common word to mean actual ‘love’ but daisuki works too.
