The DC Area Snipers

Now that they’ve both been convicted, what do you think the proper sentence would be?

Considering I was in the thick of the area that was, frankly, terrified for 32 days, and live like 5 minutes from the school where they shot that boy, I think you can guess where I stand.

Life imprisonment. Let them think about what they have done for a loooooooong looong time. The death penalty should only be used in extreme cases, I believe. Like… say… Dahmer.

EDIT: BTW- I like the sprite you use. It seems to be much more original than a lot of the ones other people use, and it isn’t standard fantasy. Don’t normally like them, but yours can shoot bullets. Hee.

Aw shucks. Here you got me all embarrased. :stuck_out_tongue:

Check out our RM2k RPG Antioch Wars for a slew of custom sprites. Dark_T_Zeratul and I created most of them…we have a strong distaste for using the same old sprites. Just wait a couple days and there will be a shiny new chapter to download, too.

Life imprisonment. The death penalty doesn’t have any useful benefits besides sometimes being psychologically lifting to relatives of those who were killed.

Life.

Death.

What the law and the judges say.

The regular sentence for murder, multiplied by the amount of victims, plus another sentence for threating and trying to extort people (they said the sniping would only stop if people gave them some big amount of money), another one for qualified terrorism, and yet another regular one for having that rifle (if they didn’t have a ‘rifle license’ or whatever).

It would amuse me to see them with one of those “eight life sentences, to be served one at a time” or whatever the lingo is. (I forget my Law and Order jargon this late at night.) The death sentence, though I don’t really have a problem with it, is going a bit too leniantly on them.

…I think I just spelled that wrong. Hmm.
