The Animation Show

I saw this little film last night, and I have to say it was pretty neat. For those who don’t know what it is, it’s a collection of short animated skits by various animators worldwide, compiled by Mike Judge (Beavis & Butthead, King of the Hill) and Don Hertzfeldt (Rejected (which everyone on the internet should know) and a few other cartoons like that). A lot of the animations are really interesting, although admittedly a few were pretty stupid when they try to be funny. But still, as a whole it was a great film so if you have the chance you should go see it.

Edit: here is the website

(Besides, Rejected is way cooler to watch in a theatre than on the computer screen. Also Rejected was copyrighted and created in 2000 so I fail to see how it ripped off Lun, Xelo.)

I would go and see it, but I live in Norway: The movie theatres couldn’t care less. We do have a yearly convention that deals with animated shorts, but as with all conventions that takes place nowhere close to me. Norway sucks.
