That was "Incredible"...!

Yeah well, you weren’t around when he had this avvie. It’s a Wilfredo classic.

Getting back on-topic. I wouldn’t mind seeing this, but I doubt that I’ll get around to it. I may just wait until it comes out onb dvd, or something.

Gee, I had no idea my old Avie was so popular. It’s Ryu from Breath of Fire 4; not only one of my favorite games, but I kinda looked like him as a kid (no, really!) except I never had a ponytail. Now I look like the balding middle-aged man I am, of course. :stuck_out_tongue: You might actually see a real pic of me if I can manage to get my sister’s scanner working again (I can’t seem to find the right drivers.) So beware, Mortals! :stuck_out_tongue:

Back to The Incredibles, it seems it’ll be reaching the 70-80 million dollar box office gain this weekend. Not as much as Shrek 2, but still a definite movie success!

A friend of mine watched it and in 10 minutes he walked out. He said it sucked, but I dont know if Im going to watch it, seems childish to me

Wow, your friend is really close minded to judge a movie off of 10 minutes, but at least they got his money cause they earned it. I honestly can tell you that this movie is NOT bad. If you dont enjoy the script and animation on any level then I’m very sorry for you. You should really give it a try however, as it IS a well made, written, directed, and animated film.

On a lesser note it has the best animated wet hair I have ever seen.

I will, if I can find an airing that isn’t dubbed into Norwegian.

drools I KNOW! As an animation student I tried so hard not to dork out at how awesome the animation was in that movie, but there were just those times that I coudnt contain myself…

God I love pixar…

YAY! Violet ish kewl! XD

OK, finally saw the movie. (My thanks to my 19-year-old nephew Jaime, who took me to the movies when nobody else would.) This is indeed, a GREAT movie, better than anything in months. Only Spider-Man 2 and Shrek 2 compare- partly. Shrek may be funnier, Spidey more touching, but this movie had elements of those and MORE. In particular, it had a James Bond movie flavor. Right down to (some would consider this a spoiler, but I think it’s only fair that people know) people DYING. Yup, in a Pixar movie. Don’t fret, this isn’t a grim-and-gritty movie, you’ll be too busy gawking at the excellent animation, funny bits and blindingly fast action to dwell on the fact. But this isn’t another sugary kid-friendly movie, it’s a GREAT movie, period. Even if it had been done in live action, it would still rule.

I would make more specific comments, but it’s too soon, too many of you likely haven’t seen it yet. I’ll review it later. Just take my word for it and go see it.

God, I hope FANTASTIC FOUR is half this good.

No.

I’m seeing it this weekend! YAY! XD

i saw it …alright, i’ll admit, it wasn’t childesh. So i take that back; it was quite good actually  Damn, if only games had graphics like that

I saw it a few days ago, but since the thread was thought to be dead, I didn’t post about it.

Yeah, the movie was great. The only sour part was that they had yet another one of Pixar’s idiotic shorts before the movie…after ten minutes of previews to crap I have no intention of ever seeing. Thanks a lot, Pixar!

I finally saw the movie. It was super cool! It not only has a good plot, it’s very well done and the characters were cool too. It was Super! :hyperven:

Course they arent. Thats exactly why they ARENT presenting the movie and exactly why they ARENT doing the marketing for pixar still… You are right and I am wrong.

Oh, and on a totally unrelated note, this isnt Disney and Pixar’s Incredibles website either.

Cause I’m wrong and you are right.

"Under their current arrangement, Pixar develops and creates the film content, and Disney takes care of marketing and distribution. The profit from the box office, DVDs, dolls and video games is split between the two, but only after Disney recovers marketing and distribution costs. "
