Okay, I was going to try arguing the things you wrote but then I figured yeah, you’re pretty much right about most of it and everything I disagree with you on is basically just opinion based.
Although when I said it was ridiculous, I do accept that it is as easily dislikeable as stupid as likeable as just being over the top and silly and making me laugh out loud. I just meant that people would either go “Man, that’s ridiculous” and mean “Man, that’s actually fucking retarded” or “Man, that’s ridiculous!” and mean “Man, that’s awesome! I’m pretty much falling out of my chair laughing!” and that either way, they still mean the same thing when they say the word ridiculous, they just have different feelings on it. So how they react to it will depend on how they feel about ridiculous things, but it lets them know that it is going to be that way. As opposed to “stupid” which will make everyone go “oh, man, what?”. Which clearly isn’t the case with TTGL.
And yeah, I did laugh at lines like “space between 11th and 12th dimension”. 
I figured we were supposed to.
As for people changing, sometimes it’s for significant reasons, sometimes it is just because they realise “Goddamn, I’m being a complete and absolute idiot and making my own and everyone around me lives’ harder. What the fuck is wrong with me?”. It’s pretty much what I did to myself to stop me fucking up my life by staying on the computer too much and doing shit all study. Sometimes things just click.
