superman is lame. he’s got a stupid costume and has all the superpowers. that’s cheating! his only weakness is kryptonite, which seems to be quie abundant. batman was cool. and so was Hong Kong Phooey. he workes as a janitor in thepolice station, so he knew right away when the crimes were being commited. plus, he’s really groovy.
That was funny, but why isn’t the fucked up cover with Lois Lane turning black not there? I know it not Superman being a jerk…but it should be there for oddness.

That robot is the single greatest thing to enter existence in any way whatsoever.
One thing you people may not know was that, back then, the comic book covers were designed FIRST, and THEN a story was written to explain it! The idea was that it was the cover that sold the comics. And admit it… if you’d seen a comic cover showing Superman, of ALL people, acting like a dick, wouldn’t you had wanted to pick it up to find out WHY? 
Too bad the stories always gave lame explanations for these things (mind control, amnesia, imposters, etc.) Hey, it was the 50’s.
after looking at all those comics I can only think of one thing to say. Jimmy Olsen’s life SUCKS!!!

My favourite is still the one where Superman is marrying of Jimmy Olsen to the gorrilla, and his reason is ‘Sorry, Jimmy, but as local Witch Doctor, I now pronounce you Man and Wife.’ When you first read it, you’re thinking it’s a real reason, but really, Superman’s just saying ‘Fuck you, Jimmy, I want a gorrilla baby in my family.’
The one where he burns the robegift is pretty damn great too.
