Hey, the more options you have available, the better your chances at pleasing the masses before they behead you.

  1. You would have to go add columns to the groups table with values 1 for allowed custom title, value 0 not allowed, and then go and set up another huge ass If, then not to mention you have to re-do the admin pages. And Merl is PHP illiterate. Cid Wert Nul and I are the only PHPers around the boards.

  2. [ CODE]

See, see! It's the # one up there
  1. I agree.

  2. See number 3.

How about a book discussion fourm?
The puting in our favorite novel is great, but what about those of us who like to read, and have found a book they can’t keep to themselves, we can’t just go and change what we put as our favorite, I know someone who would be changing it everyday.

Making new forums is a problem because everyone wants theirs, besides, that kind of topic fits nicely on main or on media so it hardly deserves it’s own private spot.

Another board that I go to has journals. Everyone has their own, and people can write in them whenever they want. There are statistics as well for the most views, most entries. Other people can comment on journals.

And the HP/MP/EXP bars weren’t a very good idea.

Also, there has to be some limitations to some of the crap people spew all over the ToB.

<img src=“http://www.rpgclassics.com/staff/tenchimaru/td.gif”> Hence why I suggested killing the ToB. And yes Xelo, I know it’s hard to do, but Merl has been going “got to think of way rarar” for a while now :stuck_out_tongue: I also know how to make those things, but a lot of people here don’t, and since the PHP thing is kinda painful on the eyes… yeah.

And Baku, http://www.livejournal.com

what does the < pre > tag do?

I;d like to see new titles…not neccisarily the original ones, but maybe some new ones.

And I like all the current smileys, but some new ones would be nice. You HAVE to have the o_O Dekar as a smiley, though. You HAVE to.

what does that <strike>stupid</strike> often talked-about Dekar smiley look like again?

I don’t have a url, but I do have a screensave of it. Need to post it in Babel for you to see it, though.

<PRE>Hey Merlin hahahahaha this is what the pre tag does hahahahaha see look, it won’t loop down, it’ll just keep going and going and going and going and going and going until it runs off the edge if the screen in a chaotic attempt to rule the world!</PRE>

And it’s fixed type font and spaces properly

<img src=“http://www.rpgclassics.com/staff/tenchimaru/td.gif”> Mostly so that I don’t have to strain myself when posting logs to make all the <'s dissapear :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, Ryuuhi’s got it.

I want the Dekar smilie, too.

Also, if there’s a way to make Xelo stop commenting on everybody’s suggestions and showing how knowledgeable he is about the way forums work, please do so. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ignore Xelo’s posts. Simple as that. :stuck_out_tongue:

But that Dekar smilie is cool… I like it. Better than  at least.

I hate the smilies, I wish I could turn them off, but I have yet to find a way to do so.

Hey, theres a suggestion, find me a way for normal users to turn off smilies!

Normal people? Mods can turn off smilies?

So I hear.
