Story Discussion for FF7: Dirge of Cerberus--SPOILERS Ahoy!

This goes for anyone that completed FF7: Dirge Of Cerberus and has any plot/story related questions. This may be discussed here.

The Biggest question we have about the story is: Who in the 9th Circle of Hell is “G”? There’s absolutely no mention of who exactly G is. He’s refered to a “He…” That’s it. That, and the G reports. The game would have us believe it’s Grimoire Valentine, Vincent’s father, or the guy in the Perfect ending, with the Transylvanian accent, or an entirely new character all together.

Answer the question in the spoiler tag and you have earned the title of “Greatest Mind Ever”. :get it?:

Anyway, G stands for Genesis. The G Reports you can collect indicate that he’s a sort of antithesis, or possible compatriot, of Sephiroth. He apparently has a larger role in FF7: Crisis Core for the PSP.
