All I’m saying is, if the gameplay and story are good, then it’s a huge ass improvement over SO2. 
i actually bought so2. it wasn’t bad, but i wouldn’t put it on my list of greatest games, either. i don’t own a ps2, so i probably won’t buy so3.(i own a gba and a dreamcast w/mod chip, as well as a laptop[i only use the laptop, i don’t own it])
You can’t save in it, but certain floors have elevators. Once you reach them, you can ride them back to the entrance (or the earliest elevator), leave the dungeon, and then save. Once you’ve rode an elevator, you can jump back up to that floor whenever you want. 8)
