Hell, I have SP2 installed, Norton SW 2004, all the security updates, and still some programs are passing by the protection and installing themselves while asking.
Anybody got tips on how to keep the god damm thingies from getting into my machine? If I put a firewall that allows access only to port 80, can programs still install themselves from the browser?
Don’t use the PC. It’s the only thing that truely works. But a good, more realistic, alternative would be to not use Internet Explorer, or Windows. Either one will do.
Seeing as they use port 80 to install them… Yea.
