Yep. If you havent seen it yet, there are videos on ign.com
Looks really cool, my fave part of the video is when they unveiled the ability to create your own character. This game is gonna rock.

I hope the create-your-own character bit has customization as good as City of Heroes does. The game would be amazing.
I think it’s a really stupid move that they are only releasing it on the PS2. Oh well.
Ditto. I’ll rent it, if nothing else.
Game cube version of SC2 had one problem. The gamecube’s controller. The Xbox version was cool because the graphics and framerates were slightly better than the other two consoles.
I don’t mind it at all seeing as how I’d only buy the ps2 version anyway.
CaS in Soul Calibur?!
drools
Namco = PS2 whores. You should know that as well as I do. I understand that it sucks it’s not coming to arcade, but…arcades are dead.
You could make Ameria, Flint!
Yeah, I’ll second that. The only arcade around my area that had 3rd strike OR CvS2 went out of business. On top of that, even EVO uses consoles now…
In 5 years, arcades may be as rare as a talented pop singer.
You know, that’s not a bad idea.
Meh, too impatient to wait for SC3 for that. fires up SD vs Raw
Edit: I didn’t even notice I called it CaS until I saw 984’s quote.
I thought that before I played it. Afterwards, I actually felt that the Gamecube controls were the most comfortable of the three.
Anyway, I’m not a fan of the series, and no console-exclusive characters kind of kills it for me.
The way I play involved having all the shoulder buttons corrosponding to button combinations. example:
R1 = A+Kick
R2 = B+Kick
The fact that the game cube featured only two shoulder buttons (as well as the annoying length of depression that you must put on it before it registers as being pressed) really made it an inferior controller for me. The shoulderbuttons on the Xbox gave me the same issues. But the white and black buttons worked almost as well as the ps2 setup.
Ah. I just press the two buttons together.
That was the other thing. The GC makes it easy to press X and A (or B, which ever is the big green one) at the same time. But Y and the Red button requires some freakish thumb/index finger manuver to press at the same time. I like when all the buttons are the same size and distance from one another.
But thats me wanting faster response time.
I can agree that Link is a fun advantage to the GC version. But since the 3 cameo characters arent allowed in tourney play… Well, it doesnt matter too much to me.
Raphael for the win.
This Game looks TIght but it could have its down fall
Real men don’t bind functions to trigger buttons. Then agian, I play VF4:EVO without trigger buttons…so I guess I’m used to it.
Raph’s counters are out of this world. Guy misses you? 4 A+B and he takes it like a bitch.
Real men wouldnt be using gamepads, you know that… But since we arent real men here, we gotta do what we gotta do.
And yeah, Raphael is at his best when you can fairy him around like no one’s business. I came in tied for 3rd at the Sakuracon fighting tourney in Seattle. There were maybe about 10 serious players there and about 30 scrubs. But it was fun none the less.
