So much going on, and nobody saying "boo"...

Wil, about two years ago, when I used the same wording, Mr. Saturn came out of the shadows to dispel my totally out-of-scope theory. I guess that I was “fishing” again.

As for the FF13 film, it’s just a speculation, but after reading Toriama’s comments on FNC project, I would say a plausible one.

“In fact, the Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII project isn’t just limited to three projects - there are many different aspects. In terms of the formats we’re reaching, as well, it’s not simply exclusive to the PS3 and mobile phones. In Latin Fabula Nova Crystallis means “New Crystal Story” and we’re using that as a basis for the project, but there are many characters and legends that are branching off from the main story and universe. It’s a huge project.”

DQ Joker and DQ Swords announced for North American release.

Wrong forum?
Well, so are FFT: War of the Lions, and FF12: Revenant Wings. But we could’ve seen that a mile away. :hahaha; Both sometime in the fourth quarter of this year.

YAYAYAYAYAY
I keep saying I’m going to buy an NDS and PSP but never get around to it (why should I, when I still have Tales of the Abyss to play and Xenosaga 3 to replay? That’ll take me another two months, easy).
Next time I go on a train or plane ride I’m going to grab a DS beforehand, definitely.

By the way, they had better let Alexander O. Smith loose on the Lion War. He could turn the story from laughable into unbelievable.
In Latin Fabula Nova Crystallis means “New Crystal Story”
Am I the only one who thinks of ORBS when I read this?

Now I am thinking about poor FF fans, especially of the hardcore variety, those for whom FF is almost an addiction – they just got to have/play all the games with a “FF” symbol – every sequel, prequel, spin-off, remake, or version created.
Square Enix made a perfect business decision - going multi-platform full blast with their famous strategy of “deploying polymorphic content”. But the FF addicts are taking a hit in the wallet. And Ichiro Otobe could be praised or blamed (depending on which side of seller/customer fence you stand) for this.
If you want to play all the FF games coming out lately, you got to go multi-platform: Wii is a must for Crystal Chronicles aficionados, NDS for all the remakes, PSP for Dissidia, Crisis Core, and maybe Before Crisis (?); if you want to watch Advent Children Complete, and play FFXIII and Versus XIII, in that case, PS3 should be added to your gaming hardware.

Edit: I forgot to mention that FFXIII and Versus are still PS3 exclusive, at least that is how it was presented at the S-E Party:

It’s for PS3 and only PS3, and there’s virtually zero percent chance of it coming to any other system.

Wow, guess they don’t want it to sell all that well then.
