Slayers is one of those great series that appeals to all, it might seem a little childish at first but there’s a lot of humour so you’ll almost certainly find something you’ll like. It’s worth checking out of you ask me
<img src=“http://www.rpgclassics.com/staff/tenchimaru/td.gif”> I personally didn’t enjoy the movies much, and Slayers Try seemed to drag on a bit in the middle, but otherwise it’s a very good watch. I heartily recommend it.
The movies weren’t that great, but if you really want to laught you need to see the Slayers Dragon Slave Specials. It’s the second set of OVAs (not to be confused with the book of spells which is also quite funny) and it’s by far the funniest 3 episodes ever, but they’re exceedingly hard to find.

Sorry, small mistake on my part (it was late), the dragon slave special are in fact the same episodes that are found in the book of spells. The 3 episodes I was talking about are actually the Slayers Excellent OVA.
This is such a great series. The humor combined with a fantasy setting. What I didn’t like was the voice actor change with zelgatis(?). He didn’t seem as badassed.
Subbed. I can never ever find dubbed versions, unless they’re films. I just don’t think they get put onto the net. Anyway I like the original voices. Sometimes the english cast just dont seem right (ie Asuka’s english voice actor from Eva sounded [i]weird/i]).
