I’m gonna go with the sword for the following reasons:

  1. It doesn’t have limited uses (unless it breaks, but I imagine such a sword would be durable and withstand thousands of zombies, which, after all, are NOT durable)
  2. It’s useful outside of Zombiecide.
  3. Actually, that preety much covers it.

Well I’m gonna go for the guns myself.

  1. You’ll have enough shots to kill thousands of them, if you use it wisely and don’t start to shoot walls, and grab all refills. =P
  2. Oh, you can also kill werewolves, vampires, martians, slimes, and giant baby with these.
  3. Zombies ate my Neighbords, biatch
  4. See #3.
  5. ZOMBIES ATE MY NEIGHBORDS! =D

Umm…the last three reasons are just that one game. The game was cool, sure, but a lot of cool games have badass swords too.

Besides, the guns have extremely limited ammo. Where you gonna find holy water lying around? And Slimes and Martians aren’t weak against holy water unless they’re like, zombie slimes or martian vampires.

I’m going to have to say double shotguns, aimed straight at their heads. I think that would get rid of any zombie problem ya might have.

I’d go with the sword… mainly for the same reasons X did.

Incidentally, zombies can’t be headless according to RE rules, cuz they still need their brain stem giving them rudimentary motor functions.

The shotgun from Army of Darkness, it never runs out of ammo and it is inherently connected to it’s owner in such a way it APPEARS in his hands when he needs it, that or they planned the scene poorly.
