Shortest. Boss fight. Ever.

Just something I felt the need to be happy about. ^.^

I beat Berle (Star Ocean 2) in (literally) thirty-four seconds.

Swords Dance + Mirror Slice > You.

Bah. Next time I get a chance, I’ll time how long it takes for me to beat the first boss in MegaMan Legends. Then we can talk about “shortest boss fight ever.”

Ghost Train + Phoenix Down = Bitch

Okay, there’s that, too, but I mean without insta-one-hit-kills like that.

X-Zone on Wrexsoul, you win

<img src=“http://www.rpgclassics.com/subsites/twistedrpg/images/hero/rirse.gif”> One of the next to last bosses in Final Fantasy Tactics. One hit from Cidolfas’ armor break and the boss (forget which one) dies. And this is on the first turn.

I actally preferred vanish + x-zone myself. Although I have to say I’ve probably leveled up in most RPGs that I finish bosses in one physical hit anyway.

Me and my mad skillz + Giygas= 7 minute termination

(hey it’s a last boss, it takes some time)

In Zelda:Majora’s Mask, once you get the Fierce Deity’s Mask, any idiot can beat Odalwa in five seconds. :hahaha;

That’s cool, PV. I beat Indalecio in 5 seconds using an Algol! 8)

But now, thanks to your technique, I have a way to convice people to actually put Claude on their team.

Golden Sun: the Lost Age, Sentinal, 16 seconds with part of the summon animations. I was playing in my Environmental Chemistry class, in the middle of the class.

uhh, where do you fight Sentinel? Cuz I sure as hell don’t remember any easy bosses.

Doom was cheaper, so it was better to use that one. Unless you had the Economizer that is.

Baldur’s Gate 2: mowed the shadow guy down in 10 seconds with an accidentaly kamikaze attack. The shadow dragon just before him took more time, though. 43 seconds.

I had done almost all of the level 2 quests by the time I went for the dark temple so when I did them I was already way powerful.

BG2’s fights where all quick. You either win or die horribly, but you do it quick.

Those are all fast times. I’ve timed myself, but I think I’ve managed to kill certain bosses, in only a matter of minutes (without using one-hit-kill attacks).

SE: Only when there’s magic involved. I’m pissed that even having a negative Thac0 doesn’t keep you from missing almost all physical hits. That made me become a ‘breach+magic missiles’ addict.

Anyway, go fighting the diamond/adamantium/something like that golem. I once took sixteen minutes to take one of them down.

Yu Yevon. Zombie+Life=Dead.

Many FF6 Bosses. Vanish+Doom/X-Zone=Dead.

I could only use “Reduce Magical Resistance” and “Magic Missile”. Everything else was useless. Damn things.
