I only got about halfway through with it. I guess it was alright. I mean, she kinda kept the characters in check and all that so that pleased me. It wasn’t so horrible that I couldn’t keep on reading it, but it still has some work. But, hey. Who’s perfect? :moogle:

Having been one who saved “Darkness Falls” to my work PC, I’m afraid the man may have a point… :hyperven:
But, as for the fic, meh, I’ve sen much, much worse (I actually have a link to a fanfic so bad, if I posted it openly I’d probably get banned in an instant- and that’s by the mods who like me :thud: )- it needs a lot of work, a LOT more description and does seem to be a by-the-numbers FF8 fic (although, god knows, I’m one to talk :thud: ) but shows promise. I do like the way she totally debunked her own cliffhanger, though :-p

Yup, I used to visit that place years ago, totally turned me off fanfiction for a long time.
A quick initial reading looks to me like it’s just mindless drivel. The author needs to learn paragraph structure for sure. It’s not to bad really, it just needs some content.
Damn those FF8 authors and their loads of reviews! fumes with jealousy for a while then whaps head to get whatever villain is possessing her and trying to bring menace out
Hopefully with the advice that has been given, she my be able to turn into at least, a semi decent writer.
Doubt it, she gave me a review of one of my stories trying to explain what hers was all about. It seems to be a sequel of something and that seems to be all she’ll work with
