I’ll admit, I’ve shaved my armpits. I mean, fuck, if I didn’t I’d have three foot dreads under my arms by now. Every guy shaves his armpits at least once, whather they like to admit it or not! It’s so disgusting not to, I don’t care if it’s considered girly!
So what else is it acceptable for guys to shave? I also shave my belly. Belly hair is so gross. I don’t like body hair. I like being smooth, but I’d never shave my legs, I’d be laughed at.
Hades, if you really don’t like the body hair, why don’t you try waxing? Honestly, it doesn’t hurt as much as people make it out.
I knew guys who shaved their legs, but they said they did it for triathlon. However, they both did it all the time, so I think they just liked having smooth legs.
In today’s society, I dont see why having smooth legs or no body hair is still bad for guys. I mean, it seems that saying things like “wuss” or “gay” to a guy who shaves or waxes is just being chauvinistic, redneck, and/or stupid. Oh well.
Oh we all shave down there, there’s nothing wrong with it. Unless you like, accidently do damage. Ouch. Other than that, legs, armpits, and eyebrows waxed. I admit I HATE shaving. I wish I could believe Vicki but I dunno. I’m a bit too scared to try leg waxing. Maybe that hair cream removal method. I should try that. Shaving every couple of days is a bitch and I hate it.
Anyways, back to topic at hand. I think it’s weird when guys shave things other than their face. Excluding the nether regions and armpits, of course gives Hades a thumbs up Legs is a bit awkward to me. it may sound weird but leg hair on guys is like a sign of masculinity to me, and there’s nothing like rubbing your smooth girly legs against his rough, strong legs. What? >> I have lots to say on shaving >> Um belly hair. Hmm. Hades is it noticable? I mean, that’s another masculinity thing to me, but if a guy’s chest is like, totally black, that’s gross. Do shave it.
I consider that keeping both hair and beard as short as posisble is a sign of discipline. I have learned that little things like that can help me master myself.
You can master yourself by having facial hair… I don’t see what that has to do with anything.
Waxing the anus is good, because there is nothing that turns off a girl more than a hairy butt. Haivng trimmed pubes is a good idea too - in the event a girl goes down on you I’m sure they’d rather not be choked by pubic hair.
I shave my face and pubes. I like body hair - I also see it as a sign of masculinity. Men have hair, women don’t. That’s the modern assosciation.
Manus, some ladies would go “Unshaven butt? EWWWW.” Besides, you could also not shave, but keep your facial hair trimmed neatly. In some ways that requires more control. Clean shaven just means you shave it off which is a rather easy procedure, but a nicely trimmed beard means you have to keep it clipped and can even let you decide what length to keep it at.
I just shave my facial hair and chest, and do not let other body hair grow too long, but I think it perfectly fine to for a man to shave his hair as he pleases.
Thing is though, seeing as how most women have been swept up in this “Bishonen = teh hotz” wave that has swept the nation (along with the legolas thing) you’d figure people wouldnt get all huffy puffy anymore about masculinity and hair. If you can be masculine and NOT have body hair, then you are obviously doing somthing right that guys all that sexual tension of “aw man, if I shave my body I’ll be a fag!”… Which is bullshit, ladies, how many of you like a man with a handfull of fur on his chest? Really, this is a serious question? Or do you like smooth skin? I mean, I personally like girls, so smooth skin is my fave. But I also want to find myself attractive in order to have self confidince. And I certainly dont think body hair appeals to women. At least, not the girls I’ve associated with.
Labels are stupid, hair shouldnt have to be a defining point of a man’s masculinity. He should be secure with himself no matter how much hair he has, and be a better man by pleasing his partner AND acting how he likes, whether that be foppish or masculine.
