Septerra Core. Anyone played it?

I remember hearing about this game like 2-3 years back, i read up on it and it looked like a decent RPG kinda like Final Fantasy meets Fallout. Anyways i wanted to keep an eye out for it, but it never came out at any of my local game stores…

Just curious if anyone has played it. And if so what did ya think of it?:boring:

I have… I wasn’t all the impressed.

I found the dungeons and fights more of a nusiance then a challenge, and the story was not told very well.

yeah… I’ve played Septerra Core. It is probably my favorite PC RPG… and I haven’t even really finished it yet. It is on my list of shrines to make though. It’s a pretty fun game if you can get the hang of the battle system.

Let me guess… you never played any of Black Isle’s/Bioware’s RPGs, Deus Ex, or Anachronox?

PC: nope

but none the less, I still like Septerra Core. Araym totally rocks in this game… provided you give him a good weapon. The only thing I didn’t care for in the game was the music. There was really none to it… well some, but nothing any good.

Story’s good. Fighting system and dungeons are crap.

I vastly preffer Anachronox.

I avoided Septerra Core mainly because the things I heard were none too flattering.

I’ve played it. It’s okay, nothing too impressive. Just your run-of-the-mill PC RPG.

Played it. Got bored 1/3 through. Used cheats to end the tedious battles faster. Gave up when I was 2/3 done.
My result: Thumbs down. This game is boring. At least for me it is.

‘Maya’ is a girl name, and she is obviously a girl if you played the game.

yeah… Maya is a long blue haired girl with a big-ass gun and who can kick some serious ass.
