It’s a dating sim with mech combat, but it’s mostly a dating sim. Not sure what I think of it so far but it doesn’t appear to be a game I’ll want to play in front of someone. Kudos to NIS for having the balls to bring it over here and keeping it as Japanese as possible.

Speaking of Sakura Wars, I just found a PS2 copy of one of the Sakura Games in English today (not sure which) but didn’t buy it because I’m not done with Ar Tonelico 2 yet. Should I consider it for my next game? (There was also Tales of the Abyss, which is better?)
Abyss, despite my slogging through it is one of the top tier games in the franchise. If the rest of the Sakura series is like this, I don’t think I’ll be playing any more. Get TOA
