I think it would be a cool idea, but I don’t know what they could put on the front, maybe a piano and the <s>Merlin</s> sprite and the word “RPGClassics”, and I dunno if anyone other than me would buy one, or how this would be done.

Ugh, I don’t like the idea of merchandising, and it disturbs me so many people say they would buy RPGC shirts. I guess if the amount of work needed to run the site approaches the level of a full-time job, it would be the right of the people working here to make money off the place, but seeing an RPGC merchandising section wouldn’t be nice…
Every time the staff talks about this (and it comes up every once in a while), certain staffers coughMerlincough discourage us. Although he has a point, in that I’m not sure how many people would actually buy them.

The thing is, this site is based on information and not entertainment. A site like 8-bit theater can sell t-shirts because the visitors are familiar with the lovable characters. Any lovable characters we have are only known by the board and chat regulars.

But I guess that someday I’ll go to one of these places that lets you put whichever print you want on a t-shirt and get a RPGC t-shirt anyway
I’ll probably use my old “What We Got At RPGC” idea or something…
