Yuna. She seems the most balanced (not too whiny, not too macho) of all the FF female protagonists so far. That is of course the point of her role in X2, but even in FFX she stood out, IMHO.
Rikku is infinitrillions of times better than anyone mentioned there. How is she not listed?

Rinoa, hands down, but you gotta add 'em ALL. There’s a bunch of people with different tastes, and there’s so many female characters… I’d make a list, but I’m not sure if there’s a point.
im pretty sure that at most award show’s there are only 4 or 5 choices.
