So, I finally started using data ripped from the ROM to complete missing information in my tables.
In making equipment, etc. charts, should I list the “unknown” data extracted?
I’m thinking I should only include the parts I know the meanings of on the main shrine pages.
I suppose the most I could do with the extra information is maybe a “hacking” page detailing the format, dunno if posting the hex dump of the game’s data tables would be a copyright concern.
Yeah, there isn’t any real point in including data if it isn’t useful to the player. A hacking section can be used if the user wants to hack savestates or whatnot. Several of my shrines have that in there.
