Rick James, known to most people these days merely as “that guy Dave Chappelle did a parody skit about” has passed away.
He was 56.
I’d do more eulogizing, but then I’m not really familiar enough with his music to do a decent job of it.
He ahd some good songs, oldies but goodies as I would say.
I remember hearing Dave Chappele’s famous, “Rick James” bit when I was watching particular part of Spiderman 2, when Spidey got smacked by his best friend, it was SO funny.
