Question for all you music geeks!

The other day, I was listening to the contemporary rock station when I heard something interesting. A rock cover of 99 Luftballoons, which was interesting in that the artist switched languages between verses. That is, singing one in English, then the next in German, and so on.

Unfortunately, I didn’t catch who it was by. Does anyone here know this one?

I don’t know but try listening to a few different versions on youtube. It might help.

It’s amazing what you can find on playlist.com

Thanks, but I don’t think that’s the one I heard. It’s cool anyway, though.

EDIT: Looking at the band’s website, their version is based off one by this band Goldfinger (which I had never heard of until just now), which IS the one I heard. So, it was and it wasn’t the right one.

Ye, the one by Goldfinger has always been my favorite.

You may also wanna check out “stalker” by Goldfinger too.

was it the one that goes “doo dee dee do do dedoo dee dee do do”?

No, I think it’s the one that goes like this.

Somehow, I doubt it.

Kagoto, that made me LOL!

And I thought the Gary Busey family was maximum hilarity…

Ah Goldfinger. Now that’s old school (well 90’s at least). Are they still around?
