Alright, just got PSO(ffline for me, atleast for a while) and we’re having a blast splitscreen. Kat-Chi, HUnewearl. Bruno, RAcast. Neroon, RAmar. Miriin, FOnewearl. Zebu, HUmar. GaZiibou, HUcast. Just a few problems here and there…
Experience. Someone will want a new char at some point, space isn’t a problem, but level 1 is a problem. I’ve countered somewhat by plating solo so we can get into places just by using the teleport, but level 1 chars get slaughtered fast anywhere. How is the experience divided? I’ve not noticed any clear patterns…
Caves boss. We simply DIE everytime we get those mines on us. We can’t destroy them in time, and we’re 8-12 lvl chars.
Whiny FOnewearl who keeps looting EVERYTHING, rarely buys new spells and still complains about having no monofluids.
<img src=“http://www.rpgclassics.com/staff/tenchimaru/td.gif”> 1: An enemy is worth so much exp. Everyone who hits the enemy gets that exp. Like, a Booma is worth 4 exp, everyone hits it, everyone gets 4 exp.
2: You should be around level 20. At least, I was. Make the Force cast loads of Rafoie.
3: Stop assisting the FOnewearl, laugh as his ass gets kicked.
Bring lv1 in ruins, give him a handgun, tell him to do normal attacks just to tag the enemies, it works wonders
as for the Worm, lv15+ is enough for multiplayer, provided you have good teamwork and can avoid the beam/tentacle thingies, have the mined player be a sacrifice if he really can’t be saved by hiding in a corner till he dies.
If you cant kill the mines, then theres really only two things I can think of to do.
Level up more (dragon runs are always nice)
or try to have the FO learn deband and shifta, they work wonders anywhere.
I only play solo (I have no friends ) but I have figured out how to kill both the dragon and the cave boss without getting hit once.
For the cave boss when he’s on the raft and about to use his tentacles you can get a few good hits on him, but be ready for the first one (I havnt figured out exactly when the first one hits) after the first one I usually have time for one strong attack 3 hit combo after it run around a bit tentacle misses repeat. The mines if they surround you you gotta kill at least two to not get hit, if they scatter across the raft just kill one on the corner and run up there. The pink stuff he shoots from the left and right sides of the raft… I usually dodge that out of luck. The rock fall, just before the lights go out can usually be dodged if you stand on the front corner of the raft. And the last attack I can think of is the beam he shoots when he stands up in the water, its easy to dodge, and you can get some shots in with a RA or FO or a HU with a gun. When you hear the cshhhhh charge up sound move left or right like two steps (he shoots wherever you are at the time of the noise so move) be close enough to hit him with some spells/shots to do some extra damage.
If you already knew all of this then well I typed it for nothing if not I hope it helps.

What you do is open the big map from the menu (1 player) and zoom out so you can see the whole arena, you can see where he is before he starts moving run towards him but to the side too, so he cant turn into you. once you get used it, its quite easy.
lol TD, that ALWAYS happens to my brother at the dragon
Bosses on mutly player are much harder then single I’ve noticed (uh… duh ;P) Try to use stratagy (you do this while I do this) acording to your classes/strengths. Rambo isn’t always the best thing
Party composition:
HUnewearl level 15
RAmar level 15
HUcaseal level 7 <-- He managed to survive with only a single death, damn rocks killed him!
Casualties: 1
Strategy: Load my char with moon atomizers as I’m the only one who can survive the mines. We can destroy one mine before they stop and blow up, so that’s out of our worries. Deband saved me & the RAmar from the tentacles, and HUcaseal got no hits

Actually, the person who gets the kill gets 100% of the experience, and any others who hit the monster get either 70 or 80%, I’m not quite certain.
