Sat fat is made out to be worse for you than it is, sodium is good for you, and there are many different kinds of carbohydrates, all of which are also good for you in the right context. Using less carbs as an indication that something’s better for you is a sign that someone doesn’t know much about nutrition.
Look at the fat sections on those labels. Bugles have 9g of fat and 8g are saturated. Pringles have 11g of fat and only 3g are saturated. How much of the unknown fat do you think is trans, or are you just assuming the rest is omega3 and 6? Did it ever occur to you that there might be as much trans in Pringles as there is saturated in Bugles? Have you ever asked yourself how they get every last Pringle to have the EXACT same width, radius, and curvature? Or why eating a can of Pringles feels like eating a stack of flavoured credit cards? This shit isn’t made from potatoes.
I’m not saying Bugles are good for you by any stretch, but they’re better than Pringles and they at least taste and feel like actual food when I’m eating them. They’re still both junk food though, and I’d still take Lays over either of them. Yay for actually resembling potatoes!
