It is nothing really big, but if you enter a thread not logged in, click post reply, then log in at the prompt it gives you, then type a message and attempt to preview it, you are force logged out. This only occurs if you do not choose “remember me” at the log-in prompt given after you click “preview.” You are then forced to re-log-in, and when you do, it gives the error “Invalid thread specified…”
I guess this is happening because it is being told to preview the post on the last page you were in, and is designed to check if you are still logged in when you click that button. But since you didn’t click remember me, it for some reason thinks you are not still logged in, and then takes you to a generic log-in prompt to get back in. Then it tries to process the “preview post” function, but it just checks the last page you were at for the post it should be previewing, but since the last page you are at was a log-in prompt, and there is nothing to be previewed, it returns the error. But thats just my guess, i don’t really know how VB operates.
Like i said, nothing big, but for those of us who do not use the “remember me” box (because its a big security risk), its really annoying. =\
