Trebuchets are cool, and are really good. At least in Age of Kings.
The principle behind them is pretty simple too, I have honestly forgotten what it is though. They once built one from scrap metal in a program on Discovery Channel: Scrap Heap. It actually worked too.
The most exciting thing I got to do at school was have silly little projects, where we maybe made a movie or a model in aliminium. Which was about as exciting as watching my cat groom himself.
