This is my sister’s 4’ x 8’ oil painting:
She calls it: “Primordial soup”. And yet, in French she calls it: “Un tourbillion d’ émotions”. How about “Borscht”, in Russian?!
That’s really cool. I haven’t painted with oil before so I don’t know what it’s like. I like how it all goes to the center point, which relates to primordial soup. it’s kind of like everythings coming from it, or going into it. hard to tell, that’s what makes it so great.
Perhaps she meant <i>primordial</i> in a sense that is more related to the root of the word than the scientific usage; in that case, the French name expresses not only a mixture of emotions both basic and higher, but only the “primer” ones.
Or maybe she’s picking random words from a dictionary as names, I don’t know >:E

Its titled as “Painting of Noxy” however, it looks like a photo that was ran through some photoshop filters. Is this indeed just a filtered product or did you actually paint over a photo in a seperate layer?
Judging from everything else in the gallery, this is too accurate anatomically and color value-wise to be a legit painting. At least one from you. And although that may sound offensive, its not meant as such. It just means that I like some may be acknowledging that its not convincing as original art from you based on your skill set.
