Hey, i don’t know if this is the right place to post this or not, but i was wondering if someone could draw a picture of my RP character? Sorry for interrupting. Here’s the description.
Obsidian is an Obsidian Gem Dragon. His body is completely black, with no distinguishing markings. His eyes are even darker than his body, but turn red when he is angry. His body is thin but muscular, and his legs are very powerful. He wears a signature pair of long brown pants, with no shirt. He doesn’t wear anything other than that. His long black wings are powerful, and span about 15 ft. On the upper part of his right shoulder, an enormous mass-distorting bolt is screwed in.
So uh guys, whats darker then black?

I actually have no clue if you would post it here or make a new thread. Most artists don’t draw things for free however unless they’re bored.
Well, humans have made materials that get even blacker than a normal black. just make his body a kind of light black.
I really hope someone here can draw this for me - this description is long and tiresome to say all the time, snd I’d like others to be able to see him as I do.

Just because you’re not Michaelangelo doesn’t mean its not good. I think its cute

The colors reminded me of the pokemon Dratini (or was it Dragonair? I mix them up) which I used to be able to draw so well. Made me really cool in 5th grade. Good memories.

Aaand a painting I did for school. It was a color mixing exercise where we had to try and copy a famous artist’s painting. I chose Alphonse Mucha because I really admire his work…it was pretty hard getting all those details down. -has no experience with painting-

Damn. O_O I could never ever get into painting sceneries myself. Just… characters and shapes, don’t have the eye for depth.
I’ve been getting back to sketching and whatnot, took a position in our student board designing party invitation posters and other PR stuff, mainly because I’ve been getting positive feedback still feels like 90% of his stuff should end up in a shredder

It’s pretty tall, but I like it! I especially like the background’s progession from top to bottom.
Here’s a poster I did in Illustrator of me and two friends in a Left 4 Dead-esk poster. My friend Zoe was supposed to be in it, but the reference picture I took of her wasn’t very good and I had already left to go home for break by the time I realized this:

The armor looks pretty good, and the shading is neat, but the possition looks kinda… weird.

Well the art around these forums seems to have been very quiet for a while, so I hope to breathe some new life into it! 
I’ll start by posting this picture I created a few months back. Hand drawn and scanned onto a PC, then coloured and shaded using Photoshop. Feel free to comment/critique (constructively of course ^^)
Btw, do I post it here or do I make a new thread for people to comment on it?
@helios19 Really nice. Did you use a reference when you drew it? I only ask because your perspective it a little off. The hand on the left side is too small given the angle and seem awkwardly positioned. The color is really nice. Your drawing style is kind of like magic school bus meets heavy metal, its really great.
Okay I’ve been debating to share this with the RPGC group, so here goes.
I drew this almost 7+ years ago. Hand draw and scaned, edited with a photo-editing program from the windows and then cleaned some morw with gimp (I think).
Thanks Talaie! No, I didn’t use a reference… I’m not used to do it that way, lol! I just pick up my pencil and start drawing and see what I get! xD You’re right though, I have got that comment regarding the left arm form many people… but I haven’t bothered to change it lol! I just did this in my spare time, it’s not an actual final piece of work or anything!
Wow! considering you drew your picture 7 years ago, it’s pretty awesome! I believe it’s the black mage from FF standing in water, am I right? I like the whole textured feel of it! Perhaps you could add in some extra shading to give it more mood and atmosphere.
