I don’t know, he’s got 94 posts and I think the purges only apply for people with less than 10. Things might have changed since I left though.

What’s so great about the Izlude character anyway? Not to diss the poor fella, I felt sorry for him, but he wasn’t really cool or anything.

Who knows? What’s so great about fruit? I have an obssession over it! Although I am a Hyper Cat Girl With a Bazooka that has a Split Personality which is Rikku…

Its more of the name, I think I associated with the character as far as his relationship with his father (but not to the extent that my dad was using stones to transform into an evil deity and take over the world by reviving an evil christ figurehead.) and the name just stuck with me as a really badass name…

Plus, his job class was great, “Knight Blade”

And I liked the general design of his armor.

On a final final note: I used the name Izlude Oranes (last name is made up) for my NERO character (nero is a LARP, or Live action Role playing game)

I don’t think the character battle is very intersting since they are really popular characters anyways. People would just pick their favorite

Man…of all the characters in that character battle…they should have the guy from DOOM. That guy was the ultimate ass-kicker.

I’m voting for Link as well. I’m sick of seeing Cloud/Sephiroth being elevated to god-like status.

They should have a tournament involving characters that no one has ever heard of. You know, like third-string NPCs and characters from games that were never translated. At least that way, we’d get some interesting results.

I voted for Link. and as for samus not being able to take the armor off, I’d not be too sure. I found this looking through a sprite gallery.

I still say it’s injustice without Duke Nukem and the DOOM guy. A nice placed shotgun blast will fuck Cloud or Link’s shit up. Even Gordon Freeman is a better candidate than those two. But that’s just my opinion given the fact my favorite games are FPSs.
