Maybe you should backup the picture thread to its current length, and then a mod should close the picture thread.
We could use this one as the new ‘picture posting thread’.

I second Dev’s idea- the stretchiness of the boards is really starting to piss me off >.<
I think there’s a way one of the admins can fix that without having to slash threads, but regardless, Dev’s idea seems like a pretty good one to me.
Of course it is a good idea. All of my ideas are good. I rock just that much.
But if this thread becomes the new picture posting thread, then it will also become the “spam how hot everyone is whether or not they’re really hot and other stupid things too” thread. And we don’t like those. :noway:
Unfortunately, there may be no avoiding that aside from uber-strict moderation- but when this one gets too big, we’ll archive all of these and start over again. As long as things don’t get out of hand, it’s a solution that will work.
