Pete rose

Should he be allowed into the hall of fame or not?

This is a silly question. He deserves to get into the Hall of Fame based on his numbers. The question really should be “Should he be allowed back into baseball?” That’s tougher one to answer.

I know who Pete Rose is, but I fail to see how someone would be retarded if they did not know.

And considering there are baseball managers that own fucking casinos- yeah, I don’t see why not.

Okay, it’s been quoted three times now, it’s wearing thin.

Why does the oldest professional sport in America not deserve a hall of fame? Explain this to me please.

Pete Rose is a record breaker. Record breakers are shoe in’s into the hall of fame. Mark McGuire will be in the Hall of Fame, as will Barry Bonds. Pete Rose holds the record for most regular season hits (right? Now that I think about it, I’m not entirely positive). It’s impossible to ignore how he played the game. I don’t think he should be allowed back into baseball though.

Well, he can’t get into the Hall of Fame without getting back into baseball.

How old is it then?

I have no clue who pete rose is. However, I’m not retarded, I just could care less about baseball, it’s stupid and doesn’t disurve to have people payed so much money to hit balls. So yeah, I’m with the people who wasted my scroll bar by posting that baseball doesn’t disurve a hall of fame :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Sorc, they can have one when they stop making more money then people sociaty actually needs. They don’t need 8 figure incomes to be able to play baseball.

:kissy:

I’m retarded. People press the buttons that open doors for the disabled for me. Probably because I’m retarded.

I’m retarded, so are you making fun of me. ;_;

I’m retarded too but people always try to stay away from me as far as they can… maybe I’m just TOO retarded

Well, The Florida Marlins just won the 100th World Series, so the game has been played professionally for at least 100 years.

The first baseball team paid a salary, making them technically professionals, was the Cincinnatti Red Stockings in 1869. The first pro league, National Association of Professional Base Ball Players, was formed in 1871, and the first major league was the National League in 1876. So, baseball, especially paid baseball, has been around for a while.

Out of curiosity, where’d you find that? I did a quick google search to no avail.

Also, I’d like to mention that Rose’s banning from the Hall of Fame was not part of the original ban from baseball. The ban from the Hall of Fame came about a year later.
